Chaplain | South Daytona Police Department
Tyrese Manigault serves as the Chaplain for the South Daytona Police Department, serving as a Crisis and Community Chaplain. Within this commitment, Tyrese helps to serve the first responders, frontline workers, and citizens in the city and other areas of Volusia and Flagler counties.
Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy, Charleston, SC
Tyrese Manigault serves as a member of the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy, training as a Crisis and Community Chaplain. Within this commitment, Tyrese helps to serve the first responders, frontline workers, and citizens in the Lowcountry region of South Carolina. Spanning across Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties, Tyrese uses his experience to provide for men and women in their time of need.
Ordained Minister
Reverend Tyrese Manigault was ordained in North Charleston, SC in August 2022 as an Itinerate Deacon in the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church. He currently serves in the 11th Episcopal District (Florida) where he focuses on youth development and mentorship.
Community Unity Project, Charleston, SC
Since 2020, Tyrese Manigault has served as the lead organizer and visionary of the Community Unity Project. Based in Charleston, South Carolina, this project intends to create stronger relationships between communities, public safety officials, and churches. While using the power of fellowship and conversation, this initiative allows individuals to understand others' perspectives, reach across the divide and find a middle ground that will springboard communities into places of unity.

Campus Safety Advisory Board Member, Valdosta State University (2020-21)
As one of the esteemed leaders on Valdosta State University's campus, Tyrese worked diligently to ensure his counterparts' safety and security. Tyrese served as an active Board Member on the Valdosta State University Campus Safety Advisory Board. He worked alongside fellow student leaders, administrators, and campus law enforcement to evaluate, develop and execute initiatives to further safety efforts and bridge gaps on campus.

Collegiate NAACP Board Member, Valdosta State University (2018-2021)
Tyrese Manigault served on the Valdosta State University Collegiate Chapter of the NAACP Executive Board for three years. He is served two consecutive terms on the Executive Board as the Chaplain of the chapter. Dedicating years of service to the organization, Tyrese helped to develop new initiatives that strengthened and maintained the general body and build relationships on campus and in the community.
